Web chat is an online service provided by the Office of Child Support Services (OCSS). By accessing or using web chat, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set forth below. Child support information provided by you or collected by the child support program is confidential and subject to state and federal safeguarding requirements. You may not modify, copy, reproduce, republish, upload, post, transmit or distribute any material from web chat including text, graphics or code. OCSS is not responsible for any copies, recordings or reproductions of a web chat generated by the User and/or voluntarily shared with another party. Any record, correspondence, transcript or information relating to a web chat is not public information and is not typically available for public inspection. OCSS assumes no responsibility for any losses or damages occurring as a result of your use of web chat. Any content that is abusive, vulgar, obscene, hateful, fraudulent, unlawful, threatening or defamatory towards any person are prohibited. OCSS reserves the right to terminate a web chat session, restrict access or issue a ban at any time. Information provided via web chat shall not be construed as legal and/or medical advice. The Privacy Notice, Legal Statement & Disclaimer of the State of New Jersey located at http://www.state.nj.us/nj/privacy.html and http://www.state.nj.us/nj/legal.html are applicable to web chat. Transcripts of every session are stored indefinitely and used only to monitor and improve the overall quality of services and develop aggregated statistical data for reporting purposes.
