About Your Support Payment

The New Jersey Child Support Program is offering two options for receiving support payments.  You have the option to receive payments either by Direct Deposit or by the new New Jersey Debit MasterCard®. Click here for the NJ Debit Card brochure.

• Both options provide fast, convienent, and secure methods of receiving support payments.
  
• Direct Deposit allows clients who have bank accounts to have their support directly deposited into those accounts.

• No waiting for checks to come in the mail
• No check cashing fees
• No lost or stolen checks
• No waiting for the deposits to clear the bank

Additional Benefits to You associated with the New Jersey Debit MasterCard® Card:

• No need for a bank account
• Use the card at thousands of locations, anywhere MasterCard® debit cards are accepted
• Use it to make purchases or to get cash back
• Balance and account information available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week

Next Steps

For the Direct Deposit Option:

1. Complete the Direct Deposit Enrollment Form. 
2. Return the form to the NJ-FSPC.
   
3. Direct Deposit Enrollment takes approximately 14 days from the receipt of the completed form at the NJ-FSPC.

Or

For the New Jersey Debit MasterCard Option:

1. Your are pre-enrolled. If you do nothing, you will receive a New Jersey Debit MasterCard® and payments will be posted to this account.
    
2. If your address has changed or if this letter was forwarded by the post office you must contact your local probation office or complete the change of address form.
